Psalm 23 describes a journey to spiritual maturity.
It requires Jesus as Lord, and it requires us to know Jesus as Shepherd.
When WE are trying to control the outcome, and WE rush to and fro every day, when do you get time to get before God and get quiet?
Did you notice, Jesus didn’t walk around with a loud haler! Right! He didn’t try to be heard over all the noise. In actual fact, most of his sermons where outside the cities. Away from the hustle and bustle.
If you wanted to hear what He had to say, many times, you would need to travel with Him for days, out in the wilderness. You would have to leave your jobs behind, your businesses, your families, your comforts, and get away from it all with HIM. Get to the quite places, WITH HIM.
