Lion Heart ENCOURAGE 001

Pilot:

Hey man of God! And thanks for taking the time to read this very first Lion Heart ENCOURAGE. We have had so many calls over the years to start a weekly encouragement post for Christian men, and well, here it is!

Short, frank and always directing us closer to Jesus.

Encouragement:

With 2025 now upon us, I trust that you have had some time off to reset and rest. Rest, and quiet time, are very important disciplines that promote and build our well-being. And then as a ripple effect, our well-being has a tremendous influence on our tribes well-being. (By tribe I mean wife, children, parents, friends, etc. Those close to us, who depend on us!) Because, as we do better, so we will have a more positive influence on those close to us. Make sure you are making time to rest and reflect regularly.

Psalm 46:10 is a pivotal scripture in this regard: “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.”

Then Isaiah 30:15 is just as powerful: “This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: ‘Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength.'”

Furthermore, if we look at the life of our King Jesus, we see that it was a regular part of His life too. Mark 6:31 “Then Jesus said, ‘Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.'” And lastly Luke 5:16 “But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer.

Thus I’d like to encourage you in 2025, to make opportunities where you can regularly look after yourself, without disadvantaging your tribe. They need a man in theirs lives that is filled up and ready to roll. A men that is seeking God, and that is in a good and healthy state of mind. Remember the commandment, ‘love others as you love yourself’. Without knowing that you are loved, and without loving yourself accordingly, you are not able to fully love those around you. This knowing and this loving starts by knowing and loving God first. Everything starts with Him.

Society needs Godly men! You are such a man!

As has been our way over the last 2 years, we will again be hosting 3x Lion Heart EXCITE events this year!  (Dates to be communicated through the year. https://www.hopenation.faith/lion-heart) I’m really looking forward to seeing what God will do in our midst this year, and I trust that this year will be more anointed and more on fire than before. Remember, the purpose of Lion Heart EXCITE, is to draw men in from all over, and then to challenge and EXCITE them in their purpose as a Christian man.
